CATERING & EVENTS

  • Do you offer tastings?

    Yes! We understand that choosing the right caterer is no small task and you want to have an understanding of what you’re purchasing before committing. To schedule a tasting either include it in your event inquiry form or email us directly at eatmore@eatmorechaunceys.com.

  • Which diets/allergies do you accommodate?

    We can accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, low-sodium, and renal diets. We cannot guarantee accommodation for the major food allergens.

  • Are your menu items made from scratch?

    Yes! All of our offerings are original recipe, scratch made foods. We prioritize local sourcing and creating nutritious menus that are equally as flavorful.

  • Do you have a list of menu options?

    Yes! We have a general catering menu, event specific sample menus, and the option for our Chef to create a menu for you.

  • Can you provide references from previous clients?

  • What is included in your catering packages?

    Depending on the type of package and service requested. We are able to offer full service packages (all inclusive) to limited service packages (drop-off).

  • How far in advance should I book with you?

    We require a 2-week minimum lead time on all inquiries.

  • Do you require a deposit? If yes, when is it due?

    Yes we require a deposit. It is due 2 weeks prior to your event date.

  • What methods of payment do you accept?

    We accept the following forms of payment: all major credit cards, cash, cashiers checks.

  • Do you have liability insurance?

    Yes, we are insured and can provide proof of insurance per your request.

  • Do you have rental equipment available (china, flatware, glassware, linens, tables, chairs, decor?

    We are able to provide these services as an add-on to your inquiry. Please note that these services incur additional costs.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We understand that sometimes things don’t go according to plan. In the event that you need to cancel your balance will be treated as a credit and applied to another date that is mutually agreed. At this time we do not offer refunds.

  • Can you provide bartending service?

    No, we do not currently provide bartending service. We are happy to provide contact information for trusted bartending companies.

CLASSES

  • How do I sign up for a class?

    There are 2 ways for you to register for a class with us:

    1. Check our monthly calendar on the “EVENTS” page or click here. Click on the class you’d like to register for and follow the prompts to reserve your spot.

    2. Fill out the inquiry form. From there we will reach out to you within 48-hours to schedule and confirm your class.

  • What happens if I need to cancel? Do you offer refunds or transfers?

    We understand that sometimes things don’t go according to plan. In the event that you need to cancel your balance will be treated as a credit and applied to another class/date that is mutually agreed. At this time we do not offer refunds.

  • I have food allergies/dietary restrictions. Can I still take a class?

    Yes! We can accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions. If booking through our calendar, please send us an email after your ticket purchase and let us know your specific needs. If booking through the inquiry form, please include your specific needs in the additional information section. We are happy to accommodate you in any class.

  • Do you serve alcoholic beverages?

    We do not serve alcoholic beverages. However, BYOB is encouraged if you would like to partake. NO HARD LIQUOR. Given the risks associated with the kitchen and kitchen tools/equipment, we ask that you enjoy responsibly during class. Please note that if you become intoxicated, for our safety and the safety of our staff we reserve the right to cut you off and/or remove you from the class.

  • How long are the classes?

    Depending on the class you choose, our classes range from 2 ½ - 4 hours.

  • Can my children attend a class with me?

    Children aged 14+ are able to attend (with an adult). Children must be paid for at the per person rate for your class and are required to be supervised at all times.

  • What do I need to bring to class with me?

    Whether doing an on-site or in-home class, Chauncey’s will provide all ingredients, equipment, aprons, tools, recipes, and sanitation materials. Classes are BYOB so feel free to bring your preferred beverages.We provide water (fruited, sparkling, still) for all classes.

  • Can I take leftover food home with me?

    Yes! You may take your leftovers home with you. We will provide to-go containers for you.

  • What stores can I buy your products in?

  • Can I order spices from you directly?

    Yes! You can order blends from us directly by clicking here or by visiting the “SHOP” page on our website.

  • Are your blends appropriate for specific dietary restrictions?

    All of our blends are VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, LOW-SODIUM, & GLUTEN FREE.

  • What are the “spices” listed on the ingredients list?

    The term “spices” is used to describe a broad range of any spice, herb, or dehydrated vegetable that is used solely to provide flavor.

  • How much sodium is in your blends?

    We are aware of the need for some consumers to limit their salt/sodium intake. For this reason, all of our blends are low-sodium. There is 1 tsp of salt per 4 oz blends. This is true for all 6 of our blends.

  • Do you have no-sodium products?

    No, we currently offer low-sodium products.

  • How should I store my spices?

    Always store spices in a cool, dry place (like a cabinet), and out of direct sunlight. Ensure the spice containers are tightly sealed prior to storing. Always use clean and dry measuring spoons when measuring from the jar.

  • Why has my blend clumped?

    All dried herbs and spices are sensitive to moisture & heat. When exposed to air and heat this causes caking and clumping. In order to minimize the risk of exposure to moisture and heat we suggest: storing spice containers tightly sealed and storing spices in a dry, cool place (like a cabinet) out of direct sunlight.

  • How long do spices last?

    Our ground spice blends will last 1-2 years if stored properly. As with all food products, spice blends will not last forever. While older spices are not harmful to consume, the quality and pronounced flavor of the blends may dull over an extended time. The shelf life stated above is only applicable if blends are stored properly.

SHIPPING

  • How do I track my order?

    As soon as your order is fulfilled, you’ll receive an email from us with your shipping and tracking information. Using the provided tracking number(s) you can track your order through the USPS website.

  • What is your return policy?

    If for any reason you are not satisfied with your products, you may return it for replacement within 30 days or refund. Please note that the refund amount may vary based on circumstance.

  • My order arrived damaged/broken, what should I do?

    Firstly, be sure to take a picture of the package, the products, and your shipping label. Second, email these photos along with your order number and a brief description. We will reach out to you to facilitate a replacement or refund as appropriate.

  • Will you ship to an international address?

    At the moment we are able to ship to all US states and territories.

OTHER

  • Who do I contact regarding donations?

    Chauncey’s prioritizes philanthropy and actively seeks opportunities to serve our community. All requests for donations (monetary, time, or products) must be written and submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the date of your event. Please include the following in your request: type of fundraiser, approximate number of participants, the specifics of your donation requests.
