SWEET & SMOKY BBQ
Ingredients:
1 rack ribs (spare ribs, back ribs, St. Louis ribs)
1 cup apple cider
4 Tbsp Chauncey’s Sweet & Smoky BBQ
4 Tbsp salted butter (melted)
1-2 cups BBQ sauce of your choice
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ribs:
Preheat your grill to 225°F. Trim excess fat from ribs and remove membrane.
Pat ribs dry with paper towels. Season and rub ribs liberally with Chauncey’s Sweet & Smoky BBQ rub on all sides.
Prepare basting sauce in a small saucepan.
2. Smoke the Ribs:
Place the ribs and apple cider butter on the grill to smoke. Smoke the ribs for 1 ½ hours undisturbed.
After the 1 ½ hour mark, brush the ribs generously with the apple cider vinegar mixture every 45 minutes.
Continue cooking for an additional 3-4 hours. Rub on your BBQ sauce and allow the glaze to thicken.
3. Serve:
Remove ribs from the grill and allow to rest 15 minutes before serving.
Slice and service with your choice of BBQ Sauce.
